Account Deletion

You can delete your myComptee account and all associated data at any time, directly from the app or simply by email request.

1. From the app (immediate)

  1. Sign in to myComptee.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. In the "Danger" area, tap "Delete my account".
  4. Confirm by entering your password (or via your sign-in provider).

Deletion is permanent and immediate.

2. What is deleted

  • Your profile (name, email address, sign-in provider);
  • your personal accounts and all their transactions, transfers, recurrences and reconciliations;
  • your attachments (receipts, invoices);
  • your personal categories and payees;
  • your session and device tokens.

3. Shared accounts

If you are a member of a shared account, you are simply removed from it; the account and its history remain available to the other members. If you are the owner of a shared account with other members, first transfer ownership (or remove the members) before deleting your account.

4. Data that may be retained

For security and fraud-prevention purposes, a minimal security activity log (a technical identifier and the action type, with no financial content) may be kept for up to 365 days, then automatically deleted. Technical logs are kept for a maximum of 12 months.

5. Request by email

If you no longer have access to the app, send your request to admin@mycomptee.com from your account's email address. Your account and associated data will be deleted within a maximum of 30 days.
